Lyon Township Residents Directory is a privately run reference service for public-record routes, indexes, and historical-directory collections associated with Lyon Township, Michigan. It does not host government records, and it is not affiliated with a government office, court, library, or record custodian.

3. No Consumer Reporting Service
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. ยง 1681 et seq. Nothing on this service, nor any result from a linked search tool, is a consumer report. It may not be used to determine eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another purpose regulated by the FCRA.
4. Third-Party Websites
Government portals, library collections, and third-party services, including sponsored search tools, operate under their own policies and terms. We do not control their content, availability, charges, or information practices.
5. Service Provided Without Warranties

11. Michigan Law and Record Access
Michigan law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Official Lyon Township and Oakland County records are subject to the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, 1976 PA 442, MCL 15.231 et seq.; its fee provision is MCL 15.234 and its exemptions are MCL 15.243. The Act generally requires a public body's response within five business days, with a written extension of up to ten additional business days. Those duties belong to the relevant public custodian, not this private service.

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
